So the law in Washinton states this exactly: "(2) "Potentially dangerous wild animal" means one of the following types of animals, whether bred in the wild or in captivity, and any or all hybrids thereof:
(a) Class mammalia
(i) Order carnivora
(A) Family felidae, only lions, tigers, captive-bred cougars, jaguars, cheetahs, leopards, snow leopards, and clouded leopards;
And that's all it says for the family Felidae, or cats. And you'll notice the word "only" before the list of banned cats. This tells me that Servals are not on this list specifically. The way I interpret it, they're not illegal. I do know that any variety of Savannah cat is banned in the city limits of Seattle, so I would assume that Servals are also banned in that city. But as for Washington state law, the above is all that is stated. Hope this helps.
It would depend on the local bylaws in Pennsylvania for it to be legal to own a Serval (cat). You would certainly need a dangerous animal licence !
Yes, it is legal to own a Serval in Texas without a permit. However, local restrictions may apply depending on the county or municipality you reside in. It is advisable to check with local authorities before acquiring a Serval.
No. To my knowledge no exotic large cats are legal. You can check with the Exotic Feline Breeding Compound in Rosamond California. A serval who was privately owned by a zoo employee in California and was confiscated because it was illegal to own them. The serval ended up at the Exotic Feline Breeding Compound. Valerie (formerly of California)

Actually, yes it is. The serval is one of the animals that is not listed in the Dangerous Animals law. So its acceptable for you to own one as a pet in the state of Tennessee as long as it isn't specifically prohibited in your county or district (rare). Do your research before getting a serval; they're expensive to buy and expensive to keep and remember: they're wild animals! I can tell you from experience that you will need to be prepared to deal with a lot of behavioral issues as these felines act more like dogs in my own opinion! Good luck!
i dont think so im pretty sure you have to get them imported
No it is not.
The scientific name for a Serval is Leptailurus serval.
Assisted suicide is legal in Oregon, Washington, and Montana.
