In detail how do you get the steering wheel off a 1999 gmc jimmy i have found only two torx screws at rear of wheel and stil cant find the spring clips to remove the air bag to proceed?

you don't need to remove the 2 screws all u need to do is stick a Phillips screw driver in the two open spots in back of the steering wheel press firmly and then pull on the airbag

At this point, you can pull out the lever and install a new lever. Reassembly is the reverse of the wiper switch removal procedure.
