you don't need to remove the 2 screws all u need to do is stick a Phillips screw driver in the two open spots in back of the steering wheel press firmly and then pull on the airbag

No, you don't have to remove the power steering pump to remove water pump. You do have to loosen the 2 screws that hold the power steering pump and then move power steering pump about an inch or so, so you can have access to some of the screws that hold the water pump on.

Using a socket wrench, remove the ground terminal from the Jimmy's battery. 2. Remove the two screws from behind the steering wheel. Remove the two Torx screws from the lower steering column over and remove the lower cover form the vehicle. 7. Pry off the upper column with a slotted screwdriver. Remove the metal plate underneath the steering column by removing its four screws. 8. Remove the red and black screws securing the wiper switch to the steering column. Unplug the cruise control electrical connection to the left of the wiper switch. 9. Remove the wiper switch screws with a Phillips screwdriver and disconnect its electrical connection. At this point, you can pull out the lever and install a new lever. Reassembly is the reverse of the wiper switch removal procedure.
