The rhyme scheme of these lines is AABB. The first and second lines rhyme with each other (god/long) and the third and fourth lines rhyme with each other (clergyman/am).
The line you are referring to is from Emily Dickinson's poem "Some keep the Sabbath going to Church." The actual line is: "God preaches, a noted Clergyman—And the sermon is never long, So instead of getting to Heaven, at last—I'm going, all along."
Shouldn't you say "heaven's angels" instead of "heaven angels"?
Three little angels, All dressed in white, Trying to get to heaven On the end of a kite. The kite it broke, And then they all fell. Instead of going to heaven They all went to... Two little angels, All dressed in white, Trying to get to heaven On the end of a kite. The kite it broke, And then they all fell. Instead of going to heaven They all went to... One little angel, All dressed in white, Trying to get to heaven On the end of a kite. The kite it broke, And then he fell. Instead of going to heaven He went to... Three little devils, All dressed in red, Trying to get to heaven On the end of a thread. The thread it broke And then they all fell. Instead of going to heaven They all went to... Two little devils, All dressed in red, Trying to get to heaven On the end of a thread. The thread it broke And then they all fell. Instead of going to heaven They all went to... One little devil, All dressed in red, Trying to get to heaven On the end of a thread. The thread it broke And then he fell. Instead of going to heaven He went to... Now don't get excited, Don't lose your head. Instead of going to heaven They all went to bed!

Most religious faiths do not believe that the number of people going to heaven is limited. The Jehovah's Witnesses are the only ones I know of who believe that an elite few are heaven-bound: Their idea is that 144,000 will go to heaven, but others who don't get into heaven will live in an earthly paradise instead. Many faiths say that "god is love". Would a loving deity want to limit the number of souls who get to abide in heaven?
