A. Making sure your car battery is dead-
The Liberty Mutual Solutions site has step-by-step instructions on how to jump-start a car battery. You can find those instructions (and download a how-to PDF) in the related links below. Here are some safety tips to remember when you jump-start your car battery: -ALWAYS wear eye protection or eyeglasses when you jump-start a vehicle. -ALWAYS make sure the cables will be clear of any moving engine parts when the cars are started. -NEVER smoke while jump-starting a vehicle. -ALWAYS start with the ignition in both vehicles turned OFF.
The hop then the step and jump.
Steps to deal with a failure to start condition involve the following. The first step is to attempt a jump start so the battery can recharge. Assuming this works, the vehicle should be taken to a shop for a charging and starting system diagnosis. The charging and starting system has the three chief components of the battery, alternator and starter motor.
To jump a battery is exactly the same as you would jump start any other cars in the world. 1. Connect the jumper cable positive clamp (Red color) to the positive post of the dead battery. 2. Connect the jumper cable negative clamp (Black color) to the negative post of the dead battery. 3. Connect the other jumper cable positive clamp (Red color) to the positive post of a good battery. 4. Connect the other jumper cable negative clamp (Black color) to the negative post of a good battery. 5. Start your Mercedes. 6. Reverse the 1-4 steps when the car starts successfully. Note: Step 3, and 4 could be a good strong battery, or a battery on a running car. weijen_hsu@yahoo.com
The first step is to unhook the battery.
The first step is to do something worth writing about. The first step after that is to organize your experiences into an outline.
Once the hoods of both vehicles are opened (if using cables) the positive to positive of each vehicle's batteries should be connected first. The second step is connecting a cable to the negative (ground) if the good battery to a frame component of the car that will not start. Then the car should be started. Often it may take a few moments while some charging occurs.
The first step is to know the problem.
first you go to the fourth step . when you are at the fourth step ,when the fifth step is down make a long jump to the last step (P.S. if it doesnt work try it again)
the order is HOP STEP JUMP
