give me the code #
P0171 - system too lean ( Bank 1 ) - passenger side of engine P0174 - system too lean ( Bank 2 ) - drivers side of engine
On our crown Victoria we had an intermittent check engine light with the error codes "bank 1 and 2 too lean". I tried replacing the fuel filter with no luck. A short while later I had a intake manifold crack and had to get it replaced. My mechanic cleaned the MASS AIRFLOW SENSOR and this seemed to fix the check engine light.
You can find the branch codes of all the branches of ICICI at http://www.icicibank.com/pfsuser/icicibank/ibank-nri/popup_new.htm Regards, Guruji007
You can reset the check engine light by disconnecting the battery of 20 seconds. This does work but you will need to take the vehicle to your local delear to have the ECU memory bank cleared. if the codes still appear after a memory clear it will then indicate a fault.
P0420 bank one catalytic converter efficiency failure.
Check all the basics, plug wires, codes(check engine light), Vacuum tubing, etc...could be alot of things, but probably not in the O2 system...also, your local parts store should be able to loan a tester for the Check engine codes...:)
You can find your bank sort codes on bank statements. You can also find your bank sort codes printed on the bottom of your checks, on the barcode on the bottom.

PO430 is "catalyst Efficiency below threshold (bank 2)". Click the link for more information.
bad o2 sensor on left bank
Bank 1 and bank 2 is running lean. I would suspect a vacuum leak. Check for cracked, disconnected or broken vacuum line(s). The fuel filter could also be plugged and restricting the flow of fuel.
