I do repos for a living and the police cannot threaten you with a warrant, i myself cannot stand police and they are all scandalous in my book, the only thing they can do is show up with the repo agents to make sure there is no conflict, it is a civil matter and they cant get involved!
No, warrants are documents relating to criminal offenses. If the lender cannot find a vehicle due to the borrower's refusal to cooperate they can usually obtain an order of replevin from the court. This order allows them to enter the property (such as a locked garage) of the borrower or place where the vehicle might be and reserve the right to criminal and civil prosecution if the vehicle is not recovered. US states inact their own laws relating to repossession/recovery of property, these laws will differ in some instances where UCC laws do not apply.
Only after there has been due process in a court of law and the judge determines a warrant should be issued.
Warrant for your arrest will be issued.Warrant for your arrest will be issued.Warrant for your arrest will be issued.Warrant for your arrest will be issued.
TRAFFIC WARRANT.... THEY WILL GET YOU AND YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO REGISTER YOUR VEHICLE.
Technically they cant unless they have a search warrant not an arrest warrant.
Yes. Your question does not make any sense, but yes. A warrant for your arrest can be signed at any time with sufficient cause. A better question is why do you think your getting a warrant and how is it related to this vehicle. You filed under repossession, and to my knowledge you cannot get a warrant for hiding something from being repo'd. They are separate schools of law, the repossession being under a breach of contract between you and the loaning institution (contract law I think its called), and a warrant would be regarding criminal law.
all of it. Just because they cant find the car doesnt mean your debt goes away.
I dont know.. i cant find it ethier
you cant
Certainly not through bankruptcy.
Surrender to the authorities in the jurisdiction where the warrant was issued. It would be advisable to obtain legal counsel before taking such action. A warrant will not just "go away",if the person is stopped by the police it will become known if an identification check is made, and the person will be taken into custody.
An arrest warrant doesn't care where it is served, the address is not important. A search warrant is valid for the address or premise listed in the warrant. Whether it is your address or not will not change the validity of the warrant.
The warrant will remain 'active' until iit is either withdrawn or 'quashed' by the court, or the statute of limitations on the offense expires.
You cant and plus i cant tell you its illegal.
