Hairdressing uses a variety of chemicals on human skin/ hair daily. Having Chemistry would help you understand what chemical does what and what reactions are expected, if any. Since dealing with the human foorm, Biology also would help. If planning to own your own business, then Business Studies, of course. Maths will aid the Chemistry part of the job and also a good knowledge of the Language you plan to work in. Biology- For knowledge on the human form/ hair. Chemistry- For chemical knowledge, reactions and any dangerous gases that may occur during mixing of products, and why. Maths- To aid Chemistry, for when mixing, timing treatments and multi-tasking more than one client at a time Business Studies- To run your own business efficiently. Language- To enable you to communicate efficiently with clients.
