Meip Gies
Meip
in1994 when the Franks' got taken Meip went into the Annexe and found Anne's diary, and some papers to go with it. She saved it until Otto came back from the concentration camp, then he published it years later.
Miep Gies brought supplies, such as food and hygiene needs to Anne Frank in \"The Diary of Anne Frank.\" Other helpers included Bep Voskuijl and Jo Kleiman.
The correct spelling of her name is Meip Gies. She was one of the people who helped Anne Frank and her family hide out in an annexe in Amsterdam during the second world war.
When she was shipped off to a concentration camp she left her diary behind. One of the helpers (the people who kept the Jews in the "secret Annexe" alive), Meip picked it up and saved it. She would later give it to her father, Otto Frank, who had survived a concentration camp.

No one really saved her diary because when they got captured they left every thing the way that it was and just left. Then after every one but Anne's dad died he and Meip came back to where they got captured at and the diary was on the floor.
Someone elses answer: in his how with Miep after work or after he was home from a Holocaust related place My answer: Mr. Frank first read Anne's diary after he came back with Meip, after everyone died including Anne, to his former buisness, where he found a white glove on the floor and broke down in tears. On his way out of his old buisness with Meip, she picked up Anne's diary and gave it to him to read. The most popular quote she wrote in her diary is(may not be word for word, but) "After everything that has happened, I still believe people are good at heart."
He helped hide Ann Frank and her family
Mr. Frank is initially hesitant when Miep gives him Anne's diary, but after reading a passage he is moved to tears and decides to have it published as a way to honor Anne's memory and share her story with the world.
