What is the advantage of endospore to clostridium?

Endospores lay dormant until conditions are such that they can re-activate the cell.

Clostridium (chemoorganotrophs)?

Members of genus Clostridium are Gram-positive rods. Obligate anaerobes (obligate fermenters) 1.1) Produce endospores 1.2) Common inhabitant of soil 2) Organisms in this genus ferment wide variety of compounds to produce energy 2.1) Some organisms ferment amino acids in process of putrefaction 3) Clostridium tetani - tetanus, Clostridium perfringens - gas gangrene, Clostridium botulinum - botulism, pseudomembranous colitis

What is a sickness such as strep throat or tetanus?

I am not sure what you are asking, but both strep throat and tetanus are bacterial infections. Strep throat is caused by infection with the Streptococcus bacteria and tetanus is caused by the bacterium Clostridium tetani.

What do endospores do?

Endospores store genetic material.

Bacillus cells produce endospores.

Does a saprophyte have endospores?

Endospores are able to exist for hundreds of years before they resume growth. Saprophytes are decomposing bacteria that contain endospores.

What is the purpose of the bacterial endospores laboratory exercise?

To differentiate the bacterial endospores from the vegetative cells and to identify the morphology and location of the bacterial endospores.

What are the advantages of producing endospores?

The main advantage of producing endospores is that they are used to ensure certain things are sterile. Autoclaves use endospores to successfully grow.
