A bureaucracy is a system of government in which many departments and bureaus are headed by appointed officials. Was daily life peaceful or chaotic during the Han dynasty time all around ancient china?

The Han dynasty was the societal peak of Ancient China. Many of the things that would shape the legacy of the Ancient Chinese were invented during this time, such as paper. The Han dynasty reunified the Chinese around 202 BC after the unpopular Qin dynasty split into six warring states, and was overthrown around 220 BC. The Han military fought in many wars during the Han period, however, most of it was fought to expand the borders of the empire, and, unlike many other dynasties, had very infrequent barbarian incursions. The citizens of Han China were some of the happiest of all Chinese dynasties, and there was very little strife inside the borders of China during this time. The Han period was one of the most peaceful times in Chinese history.
