I am a man interested in all kinds of religion, even though i am an atheist. in my studies i found that all Islam, Christianity and Judaism are extremely similar. The both have a specific book that they follow. The Bible for the Christians, the Tawrat for the Jews and the Quran for the Muslims. The all have a specific prophet, Jesus for the Christians, Moses for the Jews, and Muhammad for the Muslims. They all honor all the prophets sent by god including Abraham. They all believe they came to this earth Because Eve at the apple she wasn't supposed to. In Islam all three of the religions are from god, and are the believe in one god. All the religions pray for the same exact god even though his name is different in each one. In both Islam and Judaism it is forbidden to eat pork, a baby boy must be circumcised. All religions believe in hell and heaven. But Islam is the only religion from the three that wasn't changed by the people, not even a letter of the Quran has changed. Most people think Christianity came first, but that is not the truth. Ever since adam and eve. See christianity started because of jesus I recall. As though you think islam sarted with muhammad, it didn't. It all started with woith adam and eve. Everyone is supposed to follow the teachings of the prophet of their time. Muhammad was the last. They dont worship muhamma they worship god. But god told them to follow the teachings of their prophets ime starting with prophet adam.
Christians think jesus is the son of god, muslims think Muhammad is the last prophet who comes before the son of god and jews think that jesus wasn't the last prophet and there are more yet to come before the messiah.
Additional Comment:
Simplistically, though many would state that the three main religions of mankind where all based upon the Hebrew Bible, the primary difference between the three is that Jews believe God is one and has not sent His promised 'Messiah' as yet.
Christianity, which evolved out of Judaism, believe Jesus (born a Jew) is the promised 'Messiah' and is the Son of God (2nd Divine Being of the God Family) who promises to come again to judge all mankind.
Islam believes God is one and that Jesus was merely a prophet from Him who never died on the cross as a propitiation for all mankind. They then have a prophet named Muhammed from Allah which Judeo-Christians do not recognize as being such.
Despite their having borrowed from it, Judaism can be (and is) different from them if there are parts of it that were never borrowed; and that is the case. Such parts include the Talmud, the command to put on tefillin, the Jewish calendar, and hundreds of other things ranging from major commands to minor customs.
Yes, it is. Christianity was actually based on the rejection of Judaism. The majority of core tenets found in Christianity completely go against the teachings of Judaism.
Examples of Christian tenets that Judaism doesn't accept:
These are just some examples, there are far more differences between Judaism and Christianity.
Christianity proclaims that its founder Jesus Christ is Himself God in human flesh, not a way or a path to God. Further to this it claims that its founder is not dead but is alive forevermore. It also proclaims that Jesus Christ is the core and center of true religion, not human works or achievements, no matter how pious. Thus it teaches that we cannot work our way to God, but that God has, in Jesus Christ, come down to us and done everything necessary to bring us back to God. This also runs contrary to some aspects of some of the other religions which teach that with the 'god within' we can attain to holiness or perfection or however it is described. Christianity teaches that although there is such a thing as 'the light which lightens every man' (person) it is not the same as us being able to reach God by our own efforts or save ourselves.
This is also possibly the most offensive difference in that people do not like to hear that they cannot do it themselves. They also like to think they are not so bad and so can reach God, however they conceive Him by self-improvement. Sometimes they also may refer to what the Bible calls sin as mere 'character faults' which they can simply improve on by their own efforts and reform themselves. The Bible proclaims clearly that this is impossible without being born again to faith in Jesus Christ. What it says is that what is dead cannot perform the actions of life, although we can of course sense our need for God.
Judaism is probably the closest of all of the religions to Christianity with a common heritage. Christians regard the Jews as a blessed people as God's chosen ones, although they differ essentially in two main areas. The first is the identity of Jesus Christ as the Messiah and the second the ongoing place of the Torah or Law in terms of pleasing God.
Christianity is the ONLY religion out of three listed where majority of its followers truly believed Jesus to be 'the' God who created the world.
Just type 'Jesus is God' or 'Is Jesus God' into your internet search engine to find out a plethora of views on the topic of Jesus as God!
Judaism believe in One God and that God is not Jesus.
Islam believe in One God and that God is not Jesus.
Everett Ferguson (
Backgrounds of Early Christianity) says that what would make Christianity unique in an absolute sense, with no possible historical rival, would be for Jesus to be what is claimed for him - the Son of God. "There we pass from history to faith."
Islam accepts Muhammad as a prophet. Judaism and Christianity do not. Islam and Judaism are strictly monotheist and find trinitarianism to be problematic. Islam and Judaism also find the doctrine of the incarnation, that is, that Jesus was God or part of God in any sense, to be problematic. Islam considers Jesus to have been a prophet, Judaism does not. Christianity considers itself the exclusive path to salvation, while Judaism and Islam each admit that the other monotheist faiths can teach acceptable paths.

Judaism, Christianity, and Islam have all claimed the Holy Land for themselves.

For Judaism and Christianity it is Jerusalem. For Islam it is Mecca.

Christianity and Judaism
The three major monotheistic religions are Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. These religions believe in one God and have sacred texts such as the Torah, the Bible, and the Quran.
Abraham is considered the father of Judaism, Christianity and Islam as the Old Testament's 5 books of Moses - The Pentateuch (books are: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numeri and Deuteronomy) are included in the Holy Book of Judaism that is Torah. Eventually he is considered as the father of Islam basically claims entire religions of Judaism and Christianity as "prophets" and predecessors of Islam.
The question should be " What does Christianity have to do with Jews (or Judaism)?" Judaism is like a tree where Christianity is its branch and Islam is it leaves. Christianity is based on Judaism and Islam is based on Christianity. The major difference between the three is that Judaism doesn't have jesus in it unlike Christianity and Islam.
Judaism: Shabbat is observed from Friday evening to Saturday evening. Christianity: Typically, Sunday is considered the Sabbath day for most Christian denominations. Islam: Friday is considered a holy day, although it is not technically a Sabbath in the same way as in Judaism or Christianity. Seventh-day Adventists: They observe Sabbath on Saturday, similar to Jewish tradition.
Christianity and Islam both trace their roots to Judaism.
