Loving v. Virginia, 388 US 1 (1967)
Loving overturned Virginia's 1924 Racial Integrity Act, an anti-miscegenation law prohibiting couples of different races from inter-marrying, and putting an end to all state statutes preventing couples of different heritage from marrying, in 1967.
There are currently no laws prohibiting the marriage between two people of different races in the United States.
