This is actually inaccurate. Hitler wanted more land for his people because Germany lost some during World War I, and he wanted to gain Germany's trust so he could start conquering the world, so he started attacking smaller countries around Germany and eventually attacked Poland on September 1st 1939, in which Britain and France declared war on Germany.
