Individuals have transmission issue on a rodeo Isuzu 2002 v6 4door what could it be the gear doesn't want to go above the 20mph the rpm just continues but vehicle will not move above 20mph?

First thing is add/ check trans fluid. No dip stick, there is two drain plugs on trans oil pan. Get a squirt hand pump oil can and hose and pump fluid into upper plug hole with engine running till over flowing then shut off and put plug back in after it stops dripping. See if that fixs it before you put big money into to it.
