State the model of the rifle?
126.19320
Answer: Both Crosman and Daisy made Air rifles for Sears under the JC Higgins name. Any model that started with 126 was a Crosman and any model that started with 799 was a Daisy. I believe your model is a Crosman 400 made between 1962-64. Go to the Crosman home page and click on "Download an owners manual". You should be able to find a owners manual and a parts manual there.

Hatsan is currently made in Turkey. They make this rifle in both .177 and .22 caliber. Unfortunately their homepage doesn't list the range of the rifle only the speed of the pellet. .177=1000 FPS and .22=750 FPS. You can try to contact them directly and ask customer service to give you an answer. The instruction manual says nothing about range.

The Crosman Recruit is a pellet rifle not a pellet gun. If you want to see how the rifle is assembled then see the link below for the diagram.
I believe your rifle was made for Montgomery Ward as the Mossberg Mdl 346K. Made from ABOUT 1958-1971, and there was never an "instruction manual". There was an envelope attached to the trigger guard, that held one folded (and very basic) instruction PAGE. The link below will take you to that page.
