Interested in buying a 90 camero and the owner said the head gasket was blown and that it could be repaired easily could you tell me what that would cost and is it worth buying?

It is not an easy repair for the novice and somewhat expensive if you have it done. Basically the top of the motor has to be removed. The dis-assembly and re-assembly are where the time is involved. Replacing the actual gasket is easy. Figure about 1000 to be safe
