Interior roof light do not turn on when you open the door on Honda civic cupe 1996 thus the alarm don's want to work.... need help?

This was a TSB bulletin for 96-2000 civics. First replace the bulb. If that does not fix the problem, then the dome light assembly must be replaced. The problem is in the internal grounding of the faulty light assembly

new bulb, check fuse. i can't see any wires to that light just becoming faulty so... try those two.
