∙ 9y agoNo part of Ireland belongs to Great Britain. Great Britain is the name of the island that consists of England, Wales and Scotland. On the island of Ireland, along with the Republic of Ireland, there is also Northern Ireland. Northern Ireland, along with Great Britain, are collectively known as the United Kingdom. So while Northern Ireland is part of the United Kingdom, it is not part of Great Britain and it does not belong to Great Britain any more than you could say that Great Britain belongs to Northern Ireland.
