Answer 1:

It is hard to tell when anything free is a scam. Usually it is like, shoot the duck and get a PS3, noway anything could be that easy. This site [youripodtouch4freecom] looks legitimate because of what you have to do in order to get your "Free" gift, but it could be made just to look this way. This including completing offers, gaining points, or getting referrals.

The company that runs this website is Transcendent Innovations (TRAINN). I read the Terms and Agreements of this site and I found the reason for their "generous" contribution of an iPod Touch. You are getting them money through your labor. Depending on the way you set up your account (there are two choices, points and referrals) you will be required to do things for other websites and places as well.

For a referral account, there are certain sites in the offers list such as creditreports where it will tell you what you have to do in order to get credit. For example, creditreports requires that you sign up and give your social security and credit card number, mainly all important info on you, then and only then can you get the credit. It claims credit will be awarded in so much time. It is a long process and may require a few bucks in order to get your prize, you may be better off just buying one new rather than spend all that time and risk having your identity stolen.

I have researched the topic and many people have said that they received their iPod, but you never can tell. Someone who works on that site could have made up many testimonials that aren't even for real. After you complete an offer, you can start on referrals. Referrals involve getting people to click on your referral link and getting them to complete an offer. You only get referrals if that person has completed an offer.

The site says that when someone clicks on that link and makes an account, you won't get credit for referrals until that person who clicked that link and made an account completes the offer of their choice.

There are several gifts that can be chosen from. It is called youripodtouch4free, but you can also choose a $350 Apple card or $350 cash, in addition to and iPod Touch: 8gb, 32gb, and 64gb. Each prize needs a specific amount of referrals in order to get. Here are the numbers:

8gb iPod Touch - 5 referrals

32gb iPod Touch - 6 referrals

$350 Apple Card - 7 referrals

$350 Cash - 7 referrals

64gb iPod Touch - 8 referrals

Point Account:

8gb iPod Touch - 620 points

32gb iPod Touch - 700 points

$350 Apple Card - 775 points

$350 Cash - 775 points

64gb iPod Touch - 925 points

Offers include Level A Offers and Level B Offers. Level A Offers consist of only needing to do one offer while Level B Offers, you need to do enough to add up to at least 50 points, in order to get the the offer credit.

I am not sure if you will end up with a prize, it is usually not going to happen. There ain't no such thing as a free lunch. I am not really trusting in this site, therefore I really am not messing with it.

Answer 2:

While there are many complaints about it, it is mainly deceptive. They are not going to send you a free ipod.

What they will do is give you a list of people on the net selling things and taking surveys. You will receive "points" if you purchase certain products or take certain surveys. Actually getting those points depends upon you spending a good deal of time and money for products or survey takers who may or may not be reputable.

If you then go through all that, you will start to earn points towards your "free" ipod. Note the word "earn". You keep on working, and keep on hoping that all the points get credited. And that you aren't losing out too badly on the money you are sending others, and not getting ripped off by giving out your credit card info.

One day, you may have enough points. As to whether you then actually get that "free" ipod or not, I don't know. I do know this - the "testimonials" on the website are illiterate and spelled wrong - almost as if someone unfamiliar with English had wrote them to fool you. I know that the company that runs this, Transcendent Innovations, is not accredited with the BBB. I know that Ripoff Report has logged complaints on them for people not getting the "free" ipod they earned points for.

Best bet? Best avoided.
