The largest dose available of Xanax on the market is 2mg. So im assuming your talking about .5mg xanax. 5mg of Xanax could possibly cause death. Its not smart to mix xanax and opiates cause they cause very shallow breathing.
Carefully !
yes you can with most of them but check with the Pharmacist to be sure. I take it with Loratab , methadone

The difference between Xanax and Xanax extended release is that the XR, or extended release lasts all day while releasing medication over time.
Valium has a elimination half-life of 20-100 hours whereas Xanax's is 6-12 hours and Ativan's half life is10-20 hours.
estazolam is a faster acting drug than xanax!
Xanax XR is usually taken once a day in the morning. The dosage ranges between 3 and 6 mg a day.
Xanax is not an NSAID. Therefore NSAID allergy would not be a contraindication to using Xanax. Take Xanax only as prescribed.
The drug Xanax does not stay in the saliva for more than 12 hours. If taking a saliva drug test the drug would not be detectable after 12-24 hours.
Xanax stays in the system of most mammals for about 48 to 72 hours. 1 milligram of Xanax would stay in the system of a cat for about this long.
Wild guess: you mean to say, "Xanax", the tranquilizer. ?After you take a tablet of Xanax, it takes an hour to start working, and another 5 hours of tranquilizing in the body. That is 6 hours. Then, it takes 11 or 12 hours for the Xanax in your bloodstream to reach half strength. Then another 11 or 12 hours to reach half of that strength, then another 11 or 12 hours to reach half of that strength. At this point, it maybe won't be detected in a drug test. Maybe. So, let's see . . . adding 6 hours + 11 hours + 11 hours + 11 hours, you get 39 or 40 hours, or almost 3 days before the drug is sufficiently out of your system. That's if you are young, healthy, and drink plenty of water. If you are an older person, you might double or triple the above length of time. And THAT is the result of only when this is the first time that you take a Xanax. If you have been taking Xanax for a while, even a month or two between times, it will stay in your system for a much longer time. I will guess at perhaps 2 or 3 months before the Xanax is no longer detectable in a drug test.
Valuim is a long acting benzo and xanax is a fast acting short lasting benzo
