No, the "Super Sixth" -- one of the cornerstone units of Patton's Third Army -- was deactivated on September 18, 1945.
It was reactivated as a training unit in 1950, but never left Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri, and was permanently deactivated in March, 1956.
The alumni association for the unit held its final reunion in 2000.
