Actually Down syndrome is a chromosome disorder and has absolutely nothing to do with anything you did or didn't do during your pregnancy. So please do not blame aloe vera juice or yourself for your child's condition. It has not been diffinitively established if aloe vera is safe during pregnancy. It seems that aloe vera juice could help with many of the symptoms associated with pregnancy, but there are some concerns about its laxative effects and ability to cause uterine contractions. It is probably best to consult with your practitioner before using, but probably used in moderation in later stages would not cause any harm and definitely would not cause down syndrome.

Now, if you have already consumed it while pregnant, the best thing to do is stop and not worry. Worrying about it is probably even more harmful to the unborn child.
