Arvada is safe. The big one was in Black Forest, which is on the outskirts of Colorado Springs. There was one north of the Springs but south of the Denver Metro area, but that's under control. The Denver Post had been keeping up-to-date stories and a live blog on the fires. That would be a good place to look.
