Dr. Ben Clennell, of Leeds University, England, is not the first to make note of the possibility of methane hydrates as a source for causing ships to disappear, he has become identified with the theory which, on September 21, 1998, at the Festival of Earth Sciences at Cardiff, Wales, he proposed methane hydrates as the future of energy.
As a part of his elaborate dissertation he claimed that methane locked below the sea sediments in the Bermuda Triangle can explain the mysterious disappearances. He told how subterranean landslides can unlock the vast beds of methane hydrate. This would be disastrous, he told the audience, because large amounts of methane would reduce the density of the water. "This would make any ship floating above sink like a rock." He went on to explain how the highly combustible gas could also ignite aircraft engines and blow them to pieces.
Despite this, there has never been any evidence of why ships disappear in the Bermuda Triangle.

∙ 14y agoNo. A black hole is a star that became so incredibly massive that it collapsed in on itself. The Bermuda Triangle is a place where ships disappear sometimes. If there were a black hole near Bermuda, it would have destroyed Earth long ago.

∙ 14y agoBoth are making people & things disappear, mysteriously. :( The only 2 differneces between a blach hole and the Bermuda Triangle are that black holes are found in space and the Bermuda Triangle is found in the sea. And the second difference is that, the black hole sucks things up like a vaccuum cleaner, whereas, anyone or anything that goes into the Bermuda Triangle, just vanishes into thin air, suddenly. :( (SCARY, hey?)

The ship passes through a worm hole that goes through the center of the earth and is pushed out through a white hole on the other side of the world. On the other side of the world, there is another triangle called the Dragon's Triangle which is, supposedly, the white hole. Actually, that is a hypothesis, not a theory. Theories have supportive evidence. A black hole large enough to swallow ships and planes decades ago, would have swallowed enough of the Earth by now, to leave nothing behind. The fact that we are still here proves there are no black holes in the neighborhood. a Black Hole could not possibly exist within the atmosphere or the oceanic sphere- it would wipe out all sea and land life in its ( gravitational sphere). It just could not happen.
