1969
Charles Manson was born to an unmarried 16-year-old named Kathleen Maddox in Cincinnati General Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
1971
It was rumored that Charles Manson tried out for Monkees, but this was not true. He wrote song and one of them wasn't written for the Beach Boys, but "Never Learn Not To Love" (on the Beach Boys' 20/20 album) was indeed written by Charles Manson, and for a brief time in 1968, about a year before the Tate-LaBianca murders, Manson and Beach Boys drummer Dennis Wilson were acquaintances.
He was. Manson loved it. Charles Manson was named Man of the Year in the underground newspaper 'Tuesday's Child' in early 1970. It was reported in Rolling Stone magazine No61 on 25th June 1970 with a photo of the front cover which is where the misconception originated. I have an original copy of the magazine which names Manson as 'the most dangerous man alive' - I guess this only serves to feed the myth about them naming him man of the year
Lynette 'Skeaky' Fromme was born October 22, 1948.
They are not related. He is not even related to the man that carried the Manson last name. He raised Charles for a short time. His 16-year-old mother, Kathleen Maddox was promiscuous, a criminal, drank too much and failed to take care of her illegitimate child. Soon after his birth, Kathleen was briefly married to William Manson, and Charlie's last name changed from Maddox to Manson.
As unbelievable as it may seem, I could not find a complete list of Manson's parole hearings. But here are the one's I could verify:1978, Nov. 28, 1979, 1986, 1992, 1997, 2002, 2007. The only one I question is 1979. There is usually a 3 to 5 year waiting period after a hearing. But there could be a legitimate reason for the 1979 hearing so soon after the one in 1978, I just failed to find it even after a search of the California Parole Board archives.*Footnote:Manson's next hearing will be sometime in 2012, but I doubt the Board will opt for a different verdict than the eleven previous decisions.
Charles Manson had married a 17 year old girl by the name of 'Rosalie Jean Willis'. He married her in the winter of January 1955. After the marriage they decided to move to California. Very soon after the wedding Charles Manson was arrested. His wife became pregnant in April. Very soon after the arrest and giving birth to the child, Rosalie left city with a truck driver and her son Charles Jr. Reports say that 'Charles Jr.' committed suicide in the year 1993.Charles Manson spent most of his adult life in prison. And he never got the opportunity to meet his son properly; in fact he was not even present at his son's birth.
Charles Manson .
As far as my research can tell, Manson never had a brother. He may have had an uncle that was murdered on May 25, 1969. This was the brother of Manson's illeged father. 64 year old Darwing Scott was found murdered in his apartment with multiple stab wounds, empaled to the floor with a large knife.
