Yes, there are many nice places to visit...museums, theatres, shops, etc. Have someone show you around. I think you'll like it. ---- Contrary to the city's reputation, Detroit is a very nice place. It has all of the attributes of a great city, and more. The city did suffer from much decay a few decades back, and it is still recovering. Although there is still much to be done in the city, there is no doubt that a visit would be a fun and unique experience.
