I have a golf MKV and before that an Alfa Romeo 33. the difference of course is huge... i have driven many cars in my life, but the MKV is the first one with ESP. ESP is just A-W-E-S-O-M-E! it is the one thing for sure that i will be looking in to my next car... I just recommend it to everyone, no exceptions.

The 2005 Grand Am takes 4.5 quarts. I recommend 5w30 for the weight and if you are at 75,000 or more on miles, or just do a lot of in-town driving, I would also recommend a high mileage blend of motor oil.

Recently had the pump changed on my 2007. Nothing difficult here. If you need step-by-step instructions I recommend purchasing a Subaru service manual on CD or .pdf format from one of the sellers on eBay. Can be had for less than $10 and is invaluable if you are planning on doing projects of this kind.
