The two are not related. Geronimo was Apache (who lived in Arizona and New Mexico) and Quannah was Comanche (who lived mostly in Texas, traveling to Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.) Quannah was also half white, as his mother was Cynthia Ann Parker, a white captive of the Comanche.

Quanah Parker was the last free Comanche Chief (leader) - and these tribal lands encompassed much of Texas, so his history and events happen almost entirely in Texas.
Quanah Parker died of a bad illness some say it was TB and others are not really sure what kind of illness he had. I believe he died in 1912 and he was laid to rest next to his mother.
Quanah Parker died in February 1911.
