Gombe State is worth relocating to simply because of the following reasons: 1. It is situated in the centre of the North Eastern Nigeria just as Abuja is situated in the centre of Nigeria. The State is not too far from Borno, Yobe, Adamawa, Taraba and Bauchi States. 2. It is a major centre of commerce in North Eastern Nigeria. 3. The State is blessed with industrious and educated people as many Nigerians from the South Westen Nigeria, South Eastern Nigeria and Southern Nigeria have made it there second home. 4. The State is one of the major producers of cash and food crops in Nigeria which makes it relatively cheap for one to buy food crops such as beans, maize, groundnuts, rice, Bambaranuts, millet, Guinea Corn, Tomatoes and pepper through out the year. The Federal Government of Nigeria borrowed money from the world bank in 1976 to boost agriculture and only Gombe in the then Bauchi State and Funtua in the then Kaduna State were chosen as pilot projects in Nigeria. The choice of the Federal Government paid off, as today in Nigeria Gombe and Funtual are one of the major food Baskets of Nigeria. 5. As God has blessed Gombe State, it is a peaceful State and there is security of lives and properties. The incident of religious and ethnic disturbances is almost unheard of in the last eight years. The menace of armed robbery is rare. The menace of Kalare, the equivalent of Area Boys is now history. 6. Many potentials abound in the State which are yet to be exploited which I believe a Lagosian and other Nigerians and even foreigners could take advantage of. Apart from the goverrnment run Poultry Farm, there is no large scale Poultry farm in the whole State. Apart from the Government owned Fish Farm, there is no any Large Scale Fish Farm in the whole State. There is no large Scale Orchard farming despite the large land mass of the State. There is no large scale animal husbandry project in the whole State. Despite being one of the major producers of cotton in Nigeria, there is no single Textile Mill in the State. Infact there is no any Textile Factory in the whole of North Eastern Part of Nigeria despite being one of the Major producers of cotton in Nigeria. Only one oil proceesing company is in the State exist despite being of one of the major producers of Groundnut and cotton. No sinle Flour Mill is located in the State which is reputed as one of the major producer of maize, Guinea Corn and Millet in Nigeria. Infact I could not describe all the potentials of the State here but if any one is interested about a detailed study of the economic potentials of Gombe State or any State in Nigeria, I could be contacted at the following email addess: projects@acuitysolutions.biz 7. In terms of infrastructure, Gombe is doing well when one compares it with its contenporaries created at the same time. Road networks are constructed and rehabilitalted, new schools are constructed and while the old ones renovated. Electricity supply is relatively stable as being a Small State, the number of Hours Electricity is available in the State could only be rivaled by Abuja. Portable Water supply is availabe in the urban areas as the ambitious Gombe Regional Water Supply which supply water to Gombe town and the major towns and villages on the route of the pipeline gulped over 7.5 billion Naira. Boreholes and wells are currently being sunk and the old one being renovated. I am neither a politician and nor a Gombe State Government sponsored mouthpierce as all what I wrote above-could be independently confirmed by any one who visit the State. Gombe State is indeed 'A Jewel in the Savannah' if I were to reprase it, I would call Gombe State 'The Jewel of Nigeria' . What is the shortest route from lagos to Texas?

The shortest route from Lagos, Nigeria, to Texas, USA, typically involves flying. You would take a flight from Murtala Muhammed International Airport (LOS) in Lagos to a major airport in Texas, such as Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) or George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) in Houston. Direct flights may not be available, so connecting flights through European or Middle Eastern hubs are common. The journey usually takes around 15 to 20 hours, depending on layovers.
