Freeview Aerial is not avaiable on Google Earth, nor is it a product that is associated with Google. Freeview Aerial is an antenna that is available for purchase for use with a TV.
No matter what, you don't have to purchase Google Earth, but you do have to download it.
Google Maps (website) does not require a download or a signup to view the maps and satellite imagery. You use your web browser to view it. Google Earth desktop client is available for free to download and install. No signup needed. Pro is the product that requires a license purchase.
There is a live traffic layer available in both Google Earth and Google Maps. In Google Earth click on the layer 'Traffic' under More in Layers.Note the traffic data isn't available for all cities and countries.

Earth view is a feature in Google Maps (available since 2010) that allows you to see the same high-resolution imagery, terrain, and 3D buildings that are available in the desktop version of Google Earth.Earth view mode in Google Maps is only available to those that have installed Google Earth.
