Not before pigs grow wings and start to fly around, I got a pentium IV 3.65GHZ and I am really unsure too, just pirate the game and give it a go. :)
No. The Pentium IV is not an Intel 8086. It is closer to the 80586.
Intel & AMD are main CPU makes.Models of each are given below :Intel : P -IV, Intel DUal COre, Core 2 Duo, Quad Core etc.AMD : Athlon, Phenom, Opteron etc.
Type of processors that Intel named Intel Celeron is a "budget" processor for less-intensive computing tasks such as e-mailing, light web surfing and word processing. Since people have digital cameras and like to deal with photos and people like to listen, download music and burn CDs, Intel has made them much faster. Intel Pentium was born in 1993??? (correct me if I'm wrong) and still continues today. Most PCs are Intel Pentiums. Intel has the Pentium, Pentium Pro (kind of like the "early, early, 1995 version of the Xeon/Itanium, which is a powerful CPU), Pentium II, Pentium III and Pentium 4. Now they are just called Pentiums, with subtitles like duo-core, quad-core, etc. Intel Pentiums are mainstream processors, with the Xeon/Itanium, which are workstation and server computer processors, being the upper stream processors.
It depends on which pentium. The first pentiums had one execution unit. Later pentiums, such as the IV-HT, had two.
There are several reasons this might have been the case, all related to marketing. The Pentium 4 was released at a time when AMD was just beginning to become a major competitor, and the Pentium III was having trouble keeping up. Calling the successor "Pentium IV" may have drawn jokes that the processor was in some sort of trouble or needed help, as "IV" in English is used as an abbreviation for "intravenous," and is used in medicine as a way of transfusing blood or replenishing lost fluids and nutrients. Similar jokes were made later on about the Pentium 4 EE, calling it the "Emergency Edition." Another reason is that "IV" implies that there will be a sequel, forcing Intel to use the Pentium brand for another iteration.
No. You need an Intel i5 2500k overclocked to at least 5 GHz to run 3dmax.
intel 4004 has 2300 8080 has 16,000 80286 134,000 40486 1,2000,000 pentium 4,600,000 pentium IV 42,000,000 I7 781,000,000 i7 has only 4 core processors amd fx 8 core has 1,200,000,000
recommended minimum CPU requirement for a windows server 2003 system running sus is 1 GHz Pentium III or higher processor; 3 GHz Pentium IV or higher recommended (dual processors recommended (for more than 10,000 clients).
This would all depend on your actual motherboard. Some boards do take a Pentium 3 chip. If you know the model of your board, then check the manufacturers website, for details of the maximum mhz allowed for it. If you don't know the model number, then go to Google, and download a program called belarc advisor. Once installed, this will give you the in's and out#s of your PC. All hardware, and software installed. If you find the board does take a Pentium 3 CPU, then you will need to purchase a 'slotty'. Basically this is a piece of hardware, that turns the black CPU, into a normal CPU. It slots inside the same place as the original CPU. With the added advantage of a heatsink and fan, which can be plugged onto the board. Hope this helps be safe
The highest CPU the Inspiron 1150 can handle is 2.66 Ghz Pentium IV. Anything higher will overheat. Be sure to clean the heatsink and use some thermal paste on the CPU.
