Yes, the dental light curing process itself is safe during pregnancy.

However there are other considerations that should be discussed with the dentist:

1. If an anesthetic will be required for the procedure than you will need to find out which one is going to be used and if that is safe for pregnancy (not all dental light curing procedures will require anesthetic)

2. How far along in your pregnancy you are, as well as your own personal tolerance for mouth stimulation. Some women who are pregnant are simply very sensitive in the mouth or may be prone to vomiting or nausea triggered by a variety of smells or tastes (especially those you don't encounter on a daily basis). Some women simply cannot handle any dental procedure at all during pregnancy.

3. Be sure to ask about any other variables that may be involved, types of antibacterial washes that may be used, mouth rinses (especially those which require prescriptions) that may be recommended, etc, and their possible side effects.
