Better ? No. More mod-able yes. There are literally hundreds of different mods you can download for free to change a little or a lot of what minecraft can do. X-Box may have that ability in the future.
The PC version will always be the most up to date version, it is almost two years ahead of the mobile or Xbox 360 versions. However the iPhone's version is good for its portability, you can play it on the go.
Truthfully, it depends on the computer. If you're looking for a laptop to game on with games such as Minecraft, I would recommend buying one at iBuyPower or another site than you can fully customize. If you're new to the whole computer thing or already own both, I recommend the computer with the most RAM, or random access memory. RAM allows you to run large games such as Battlefield 3 or Minecraft (big servers of Minecraft) without any lag when you have a lot of it. A computer with 16 GB of RAM is a good computer to use but if you can find a laptop with 16 GB of RAM or currently own somewhere around that, you've got a choice. A laptop can only be so big before it's worth it to just by a normal desktop and monitor. If you travel a lot, that's another factor. Obviously because of stereotypes, since you play Minecraft, you tend to have a boring school schedule and live close to home. That's where I would recommend a desktop rather than a laptop.
Well that is a opinion. You can now get Minecraft on Xbox so in my opinion it's Xbox.
It's very balanced, the opinions, but i like PC

No, you can only purchase Minecraft on the PC/Mac, the iPhone, and soon they will be releasing it on the Xbox360.BUT apparently you can get knockoffs of Minecraft for the PSP, one I saw was LameCraft. I would just stick to Minecraft on the PC/Mac or iPhone though.~Wewed12, Fellow Minecraft Player.
I'm positive they use Macs. They're much better for work. Get a Mac.
