Probaly just because your foot print will stay on the moon for ever. The only way it wont be there is if someone stepped on it and messed it up. Which I think the only people who have been on the moon is

When Neil Armstrong walked on the moon, we were all very impressed. I am still impressed, even today (October 2012) which is 43 years later. It's really difficult to get to the moon.
