Matthew Maurey, the father of modern oceanography discovered the seas had paths and currents from reading Psalms 8, and set out in faith to document these paths, and did so. That one discovery and proof of the Bibles accuracy alone, accuracy regarding a then unknowable fact, saved months of travel time, and millions of lives, as well as dollars, and never since then has any sailor ever again got hung up in the doldrums, outside of an accident, or else by sheer foolishness. Why did this still continue for a while? Because there are few who believed our report! The Creator knew! He told us, long before humans ever found out, that the unique interaction of wind and wave cause specific pathways through the seas, and mind you these are in no wise straight lines. This is why the modern shipping lanes are not straight. We know not only because of the faith based effort of Matthew Maurey, but later in the 1960's two researchers (Hollister, and Heezen) with the aid of sophisticated radiographic and photographic equipment actually filmed literal paths of rippled sand on the ocean floors that correspond to those currents now traveled in what has become known as the shipping lanes.

God even told us in the Book of Job 38:16, literally thousands of years before the fact was validated by science, about "springs", and "recesses" (lit. trenches) that were in the bottom of the Ocean? Do you realize that this was not even discovered as a scientific fact until 1873, and only recently have we been able to actually get down deep enough into these trenches to film these springs?

Brunnel, the grandaddy of modern shipping, got his model for maximizing cargo space by generalizing steamer hulls and barges according to the exact ratio of the Noah's Ark dimensions given in the book of Genesis (30 x 5 x 3). In doing so he unintentionally demonstrated two things about the Ark. First that it was the largest vessel ever built (at least up until Brunnel's time in 1858), and secondly, that because of it's unique dimensions (dictated by God Himself), it was the perfect cargo carrier. The Ark has been determined by Brunnel to have had 1.5 million cubic feet of space. Because Brunnel acted in faith on the illumination he had received, he increased cargo space on these ships by about 33%.

British Philosopher Herbert Spencer was unfortunately a Social Darwinist, and as for there being God, he more than likely didn't believe it, however after more than 30 years of research and contemplation, Spencer concluded there to be five fundamentals of Science. These were: Time; Force; Action; Space; and Matter. How unfortunate for poor Spencer that he wasn't just a little more attentive to what the Scriptures had to say, because his conclusion was correct, only it had already been spelled out for him in the very first sentence about the creation, in the very first book of the Bible. Poor deluded Spencer could have saved so much time if he had only read the Bible!

Later, God tells us all these things that are made, are made of things that cannot be seen, hinting at the molecular, cellular, and atomic levels, thousands of years before we even had a microscope. Yeah, but YHVH is the potter and we are but the clay! Do you know what a macro-scope is? Neither do I, but apparently God has one! In Psalm 19 we hear of the Sun traveling on a circuit all its own. No, the Bible does not teach our Sun or the earth to be the static center of our universe. Which of course we today know as a simple fact and take for granted, having proved it to be in its own orbital trajectory, flying through space at 600,000 miles per hour, literally from one end of the cosmos (heavens) to the other. Yet in that time period, most of the learned peoples of the world believed either the Earth or the Sun to be the center of a Universe that was fixed, and that moved only as it was relative to it's presumed center. Now we estimate an entire revolution of the Sun's unique circuit to be 220,000,000 years. Both these theories of men were incorrect, yet the Bible had the key to this astronomical truth before them all. Do you realize that we actually didn't scientifically prove these ancient theories to be untrue until the 20th century! Turns out that the Bible was correct against all odds given by the Skeptics!

Similarly, most all of the ancient religions and cultures taught (though I am sure not all individuals) that wind blew in straight lines, only the Bible clearly described it's cyclonic behavior before the second millennium A.D.!

Another of these little known Bible facts that I love to boast about is the story of light. Now no one can doubt that all cultures and religious philosophies taught light to be a static medium, like the Ether, through which we travel. God asks the Psalmist (38:19) if he can discern "the way" to the source of light! The word for "way" here literally means a traveled path or a road. Century after century, skeptics mocked and jeered in their assumptive superiority at this alleged error, yet over time, three Christians unlocked the keys to the mystery of physical light.

First, Sir Isaac newton, another Bible believing Christian, postulated based on this Bible fact, that when this light travels it's path from it's source, it travels in tiny non-seeable packets or massless particles (photons), and that it does do so in relatively straight lines. This in turn later inspired Huygens to hypothesize the wave theory of radiant light, and thought perhaps they follow the lines of force relative to electromagnetic fields. Finally, another Christian, a Roman Catholic named Roemer, actually measured the velocity of light as it radiated. Today's scientific statement regarding this phenomena is that light radiates in straight line electromagnetic waves at 186,000 miles per second. What of this phenomena called light? Some question and say that in Genesis 1, God creates the light before He creates the Sun, Moon, and stars, and that this somehow brings the whole thing into justifiable question. Yet science now knows that a dark background radiation pervades all space of the Universe that's unknown source is none of these things, and is detectable to our instruments at three degrees Kelvin.

Even if Creationism, as the Bible describes it, were not an accurate moment by moment representation of the beginning of the Universe, in the Big Bang theory as well, there was an explosion containing a massive release of radiant energy and sound (though there was no human ear to hear). This only seems to confirm the statement that God said (sound waves), let there be light, and there was light (photonic or radiant light). Modern Scientists like Michael Turner describe the Big Bang as having initially occurred in a trillionth of a second (He said and it was).

The Bible says that God created the Sun, moon, and stars, for the benefit of living things; for signs, for seasons, and as a testimony of Himself. As creatures here on Earth we know practically nothing is hid from the heat of the Sun. Who can deny any of these things? Do we not still measure the times and seasons by them? The whole world, and even science until the middleages, believed the number of stars were fixed and countable, but God's word alone for centuries had said no! The Scriptures told us, ages before we discovered it to be true, that the stars are not countable, but rather that they are as the grains of sand in the seas (uncountable billions). Today we know that God's word was correct, and the ancient scientists and the Hierarchical Church power-base, were simply incorrect!

God asked Job if he knew how light was parted? The Hebrew word for 'parted' (halaq), means divided or apportioned. Thanks be to God that he brought forth a fellow believer like Newton who took these statements seriously, who in trying to work out the details of his packet of light theory, once and for all proved that light could indeed be parted, divided, and apportioned. This re-discovery from the ancient Book of Job led to an entire science of refraction. There is so much more too this, it is exciting, but who can know, lest the Spirit of God revealed it unto you, for the word says "the natural person cannot receive the things of the Spirit, they are foolishness to them " So even in light of these many examples of profundity, some only perceivable from the perspective of an outside observer, the deaf will not hear, and the blinded will refuse to see.

How many people do you think, say 2000 to 4000 years before Jesus, actually knew the entire Hydraulic Cycle? Can you believe it, the entire cycle is outlined, part and parcel, through out the Scriptures? It's true! The Scriptures tell us that the wind or breath of God moved over the surface of the waters, and in another place that a mist rises up which would water the face of the ground, and that He calls forth the water out of the seas, and gathers the moisture into the clouds, and when they are full, He pours it out as rain and snow upon the mountains, and that the rivers this process creates, all drain back into the sea, and that this cycle has kept on going and going since the very beginning of the Creation of the Earth. Without too much homework, look if you will at Ecclesiastes 1:7;11:3a; and Amos 9:6b!

So you see, most of the true founding father's of modern science were Bible believing Christians, and this is not meant to underscore the many valuable contributions made by many other peoples like the Arabs or Greeks. However the original Biblical sources of these facts has never been properly recognized, or given their due regard, save by a few in our time, and in fact, they have been intentionally ignored, and knowledge of them has been intentionally suppressed by the neo-Darwinians preconceived philosophical presumptions that apparently dictate the ideation of what equals "public education" in our day.

For Copernicus, Galileo, Pascal, and others, it was conjectured that since God was a God of orderliness and laws, that the presence of such laws in Nature would have to be forthcoming, if only we would or could look close enough we would and could find them out and use them to better understand our world. In just the first two verses of the Bible this God begins to bring order out of chaos. Major scientific conceptuals, like time, force, space, matter, action re-action, etc., are all indicated here as inherent to the entire process developing over time. Because of this, the Bible is unlike any other writing of this genre, anywhere, through out all history. The whole adventure takes place from the perspective of an outside observer. Life, intelligence, and intent, are all implied to precede lawful formation, function, and interactive dependency, rather than growing out of them. The very idea that such lawful formation and interdependent function at the most basic levels wherever we everywhere observe (even more so with the refinement of instrumentation), could ever precede from absolutely nothing for absolutely no reason at all, seemed to them to be intellectually absurd and quite illogical. And indeed it is! That such refined and sensitively related lawfulness proceeded from absolute lawlessness without an intelligent progenitor was doubly absurd. Even Plato's Timaeus and the wise philosopher Aristotle demonstrated the need for an unmoved Mover. What we call " Nature " can not be a creator, for it is nothing more than God's gestalt of all these forms, functions, and interactive dependencies! Therefore, whether we are talking Copernicus (Astronomy), Kepler (Cosmology), or Boyle (Chemistry), Pascal (Math), Steno (Anatomy), Faraday (Light), Lord Kelvin (Thermodynamics), Maxwell (electro-magnetism, foundation of Quantum Physics), Mendel (Genetic inheritance), Pastuer (Bacteriology), or the mysteries unfolded by Tesla and Marconi (Telegraph and Radio), Edison (Telephone and Lighting), J. H. Muller (Biological Research)? All these masterful minds were Bible believing Christians, and the list just keeps on going on, and on, and on.

Now don't get me wrong, the Bible clearly is not meant to be a science book, nor does it boast any revelation of scientific knowledge, nor should it dictate what science can actually demonstrate by adequate proofs and evidences, but Jesus said the word is the truth (not contains it). Thus the living Word testified that the Scriptures themselves are true, and that even the words that He was speaking, were in fact the Father's own words, see Deuteronomy 18:18,19. So if this is true, we should expect to be able to rely on the Scripture's statements regarding these things, and that if they haven't been proven yet to be true, if they are important in His plan, they shall be. For example, no where does the Bible ever teach a flat world concept. That came after the Roman Catholic Church hierarchy began viewing the Scriptures through an Aristotelian looking glass. After they had assumed the very temporal power that the Christ they claim to represent, rejected. Now I have heard it asked, how can the Scriptures be the truth, if Peter lied about not knowing Jesus?!? How can his lie be the truth?!? Well silly, of course his lie is not the truth, but, it is the truth that Peter lied, and the Bible truthfully records the lie that he told, so I see no contradiction in places like this at all! Make no mistake, I'm not condoning book-worship, it is God, and the gift of His offering on our behalf, that are the objects of our faith, but know this, God is not a man that He should lie! Try at least to grasp this one concept. If there is a God, He does not lie! It is awe-inspiring, and would take another 50 pages for me just to list the fruit of Christian the pursuits that I know of in my head, let alone my 1000's of pages of notes.
