Yes. PS2 is better than the ORIGINAL Xbox
The PS2 is still being made and sold more than 10 years after it's release. It has sold over 150 million consoles and 1.5 billion software titles worldwide. Xbox on the other hand lived a very short life as a console. In the foreign markets like Japan it's withdrawal from the market was hardly noticed as sales were so poor.

∙ 13y agonormally if u ask me i would say ps2 is 100 times better than psp including better graphics. theres better games in the ps2 including more games not 2 mention,ign says ps2 is the 3rd best console ot of 25 not bad if u dont believe me chek it out on the web.

∙ 11y agoWhat does it matter both are useless when compared to current capabilities, it like asking if a horse is faster than a model t. It might have once mattered but does not now. Neither system can make use of a 1080P HDTV because of there poor graphics capability

∙ 11y agoThe PS2 is only better in being cheaper and is not in a league with the PS3. It does not have Playstation Network, Blu Ray, Harddrive, Playstation Plus Playstation Home, Third Party internet providers, Internet browsing and much more. It also does not have the ability to run the same games and lacks the power of the PS3 as well as the HD 1080 P and WiFi built in.

∙ 9y agoYes the ps3 has better graphics because the games for ps3 are made in hd on blu Ray disc and has a max resolution of 720p on most games and 1080p on a few games the Wii was made for Sdtv tv's and is not hd capable only 480p EDTV . But saying that Nintendo has made the Wii u can which is capable of playing 1080p games and has slightly better graphics than ps3 because it is an eighth generation console and the ps3 is a seventh generation and is 7 years old .

∙ 13y agoThe PS3 is designed for use with the HDTV and is capable of providing a 1080P resolution to Game. videos, movies, photographs, ETC and the PS2 is not and was designed for standard 480i TVs.
