Slim, doesn't overheat, quite, no smudging, lighter to move, though fat can play PS3 , PS2 games and PS2 slim can only play ps1 and ps3.
ps3 slim its much better trust me Also the PS3 fat is used and old and should not be expected to act like a new console or be better than the newly developed models even if they did cost more then.
The fat ps2's in my opinion play better than the slimline ones
The PS3 fat makes more noise when it is being used than the PS3 slim
No the PS3 slim uses less power and cools better than the Fat PS3. Newer 160 and 320 GB models use even less power than earlier slim models.
The Fat PS3 uses more power than the Slim PS3 and will run much hotter
It depends on what you want to do with your PS3, if you are looking to be able to play PS2 games, then you get a PS3 Fat, but if you only want it for PS3-related usage, you should definitely go for a slim.
I prefer PS3 Slim because they now hold twice as much memory as previous fat PS3's, they are much quieter, they tend to perform a bit faster on the XMB, they are smaller and take up less space, the matte prevents fingerprints, and they are more energy efficient. My 80GB fat PS3 died from the yellow light, and my new 160GB PS3 Slim is great so far! I would have to say the only thing that I wish they would have done with the slim was keep the USB ports, there are only 2 (as opposed to 4 on my fat). The PS3 slim uses less power so it does not overheat as easily. Most Software upgrades except the HDMI Sync are available to both models. A new slim comes with the warranty and an old fat PS3 has an unknown use history and is like comparing a purchase of anything used to something new. Then there is the 320 GB PS3 with Move Bundle for only $400 with room to download and try every demo available at the Playstation store and to join Playstation Plus and just download anything free in case you might want to play it someday. Store all your Pictures, Videos, and music To sum up the PS3 that is new is better than an old PS3 that might have been abused, but is at least older. A PS3 with a much larger Harddrive is better. The PS3 that runs cooler because of the lower power usage will last longer than a Fat PS3. HDMI Sync is a nice feature not available in PS3 Fat
No, because the Graphics card in the old Ps3 is bigger than the Ps3 Slim's Graphic card That's the whole idea behind calling something a "Slim", making things smaller and Slimmer, the PS3 Slims GPU, not "Graphic Card" (Were talking about Consoles here, not PC's) is smaller but that doesn't mean a change in graphic performance, not making it better or worse than the Original PS3 (FAT).
its the same as the ps3 fat
monounsaturated fat
The slim model was released in September 2009 and the Fat Models no longer produced. The fat PS3 were available new from unsold products and it is still possible to purchase a new 60 GB PS3 at more than twice the original price. Other Fat PS3s are also offered for sale new in Box from Amazon Vendors
Overall continuing to improve over fat PS3 harddrive size with no known limitations over early 2009 PS3 Fat models. It does have HDMI sync that the Fat PS3 did not have and other features only PS3 fat that are updated can have like 3D and PS3 Move. It also consumes less power and therefore runs cooler
