A person is born a citizen of the United States of America if he is born on the the soil belonging to The United States of America or if either parent is a citizen of The United States of America. Obama's Mother was and is a citizen of The United States of America. That makes any child of hers a citizen of The United States of America. Obama was not born in Kenya, but in Hawaii which is also part of The United States of America. Obama is not the first President that was questioned on that. Franklin Delano Roosevelt, who was elected president in 1932, was born in Canada.
yes he is and all of you idoits who dont think so can die in a hole
I do not know what video you may have seen. There is no reasonable doubt that Obama is a natural born US citizen.
no
Yes he is an American citizen
Obama's mother was a U.S. citizen AND he was born in the U.S., in the State of Hawaii. Constitutionally, it is the fact that he was born on U.S. soil that makes him a U.S. citizen (not that his mother was a U.S. citizen).
Barack Obama is an American citizen, born and raised in Hawaii. Where his father or mother are from is not the issue: Mr. Obama is from the United States, and according to the Constitution, a presidential candidate must be a natural-born citizen of the USA and over 35 years old. Mr. Obama was born in the United States, and was over 35 years of age when he ran for president in 2007-2008.
President Barack Obama was born on Friday, August 4, 1961, at 7:24 pm in Kapiolani Maternity and Gynecological Hospital, in Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii, USA. That makes him a "Natural Born Citizen" of the USA. He has not lived in Kenya and has no other citizenship besides his American citizenship. President Barack Obama's biological father, Barack Obama, Sr. was born in and a citizen of Kenya.
None. The only people who believe there is a controversy are the "Birthers," who do not believe that President Obama was born in the United States, and who also believe that his father's country of birth (Kenya) somehow disqualifies President Obama. But since the 1890s, that is not how the Supreme Court has ruled, saying that if you were born here, you are in fact a natural-born citizen. Thus, since President Obama was born in the United States (Hawaii), he satisfies the requirements of being a "natural born citizen."
He is very much a part of America as its current leader, the President of the United States, in addition to being a fellow citizen of this great nation and former Senator in the US Congress.
No one.
Obama is, in fact, a native born citizen of the US, having been born in the state of Hawaii.
