It depends on what you define as warm. Winters in San Jose have highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s every day. Summers in San Jose have highs in the mid 80s every day. Winters in San Jose have lows in the 40s and upper 30s. Rarely hard frosts. Summers in San Jose have lows in mid to upper 50s. San Jose and all of its suburbs have a 12 month growing season. So, yeah, it's a pretty warm place. Compared to New York City, Chicago, and Boston, it's warm.
