St Andrew was a fisherman and follower of Jesus. During his life he was a Christian Apostle and was present at the Last Supper. The term Catholic didn't come into use until centuries later and now denotes one denomination of Christianity. St. Andrew is considered both a Catholic and Christian saint.

A Catholic is both a Christian and a Catholic. Catholicism was the original Christian religion though the name Catholic did not come into use until early in the second century. Andrew was a Christian and a Catholic.
