Twitter is safe, but if you post stuff that should'nt be posted then it is not safe, but the point is that Twitter is safe. And for all you people who do have one, be careful.

You can also protect your tweets so that only people you allow to follow you can view your tweets and they won't appear on the public timeline.

Twitter is a very good website. Twitter is different from other social networking sites like Facebook. You should use it wisely, as by default all your tweets are public by default

I have never used twitter before but i think i will just stick with facebook it is good enough for me .

Its like other social networking sites and I feel it depends upon you to make it safer,there are a few privacy options that can make it safer.But there's always a risk,not only on Twitter,but on other sites also.I recommend that children under 13 should not access any social networking site.
