Actually, Vienneau is of Acadian origin, the Acadians were the first settlers of North America who came from France. It was originally spelled Vienot or Vianot, and is pronounced "Vee-en-o". There are still quite a few Vienneau's in Northern New-Brunswick, in the areas of Bathurst, Campbellton, the Acadian peninsula, and in around Moncton, NB. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acadians
