If a vehicle won't start when it rains or is very wet, it is a clear sign that the ignition wire insulation is old and tired. As a test, you can spray the wires and distributor with silicone spray or WD40. These drive off the water and the engine should start. Silicone spray eg..WD40 and similar...reverses the adhesive properties
Keep squirting the WD40 and then squirt some silicone spray. Took me about 2-3 days of squirting and now all is fine.

If problem is caused by door switches-- Spray WD 40 liberally inside door latch--open and close door a number of times and finally spray with silicone--Common problem with these cars. The WD40 will free up latch mechanism and the silicone should keep them dry and lubricated
