I own a Wii, and here is my take on it. If you are a hard-core gamer, you will be hard pressed to find a good game. IF you are more casual, most of the games will be good for you. The motion sensitivity is a good point, but it will take a while to get use to. There are many sports games out, if that helps.

I think it is one of the best console in this generation.

At first you might think it is good because of the look and size of it but after a while it would become boring and useless. Ive had a Nintendo wii for 4 months now and its already boring! Now I want an Xbox 360 because that is goood!

Advantage: The price. It's great. It's cheap. What more can you ask for?

Advantage: It's got endless possibilities. With different channels, some already set on your Wii, you can do pretty much anything. Check the weather, the news, upload your pictures, it's quite great.

Disadvantage: The graphics aren't too hot. They're not really bad; it's just that they could be improved upon.

Disadvantage: The games are a lot. While the console itself is not, individual games cost roughly around £35 on average. However you can always buy a card from Asda or other department stores to buy games directly off of your Wii.
