WikiAnswers, like any other question website, is free for anyone to contribute to, and so of course cannot guarantee the accuracy of every answer.
However, the answers on WikiAnswers are free for anyone to look at and they have helped many times.
Wikianswers, because ask.com just shows you other websites.
Unfortunately not
It's not. Yahoo! answers is the best cos u can explain your question more
Neither is better. Wikipedia is an on-line encyclopedia. You type something into the dialogue box, and that's used to search the whole site for information on what you typed. WikiAnswers, on the other hand, is a question and answer site. You post a question (as you did here) and wait for someone to reply with a relevant answer to your question.
While other questions and answers websites exist WikiAnswers is the best by offering the Wiki platform for people to share and collaborate their knowledge. WikiAnswers is different from other sites where each answer stands alone and you can't get to one comprehensive answer. Another thing that make WikiAnswers best is that it offers alternate wordings to each question reducing the possibility of duplicate questions asking the same thing, and then offering people to work on one question with one best answer. See the link below for a list.
No. It has its own unique content. There is certainly information here that can be found elsewhere and there are certainly competing websites that have similar question & answer platforms, but WikiAnswers is not a copy of any of those sites or that information.
This question needs clarification about "other area". You can resubmit your question with more detail so we can answer it better. Thanks for using answers com and wikianswers.
The other websites for wiki are Wikipedia, wikilyrics, wikctionary, and Wikihow.com. That's not including Wikianswers!
It's possible that there would have been another WikiAnswers. There are now many wikis, and many question and answer websites. However, there is no other major question and answer wiki. There was one that started in 2006 called answerwiki but it didn't go very far.
No, WikiAnswers does not have a log in API like Google or Facebook, so you can not use your WikiAnswers account to log on to other websites. Websites owned by Answers.com may allow you to log on with a WikiAnswers account, but 3rd party websites will not. If you see a third party website asking for your WikiAnswers password, do not give it to them - they are most likely trying to scam you out of your account.
In an answer to a question all punctuation marks are possible, but in a question on WikiAnswers the only punctuation that is allowed are apostrophes and question marks.
On the English site, English words that address the topic and focus of the question. For any other the other WikiAnswers language sites, the language of that site is best. See the related question below.
