Any individual lawfully employed in the United States must be paid minimum wage, unless they fall within one of the limited exceptions. One of those exceptions is that employees under the age of 20 may be paid not less than $4.25 per hour (the current federal minimum wage rate is $5.85 per hour effective July 24, 2007 and $6.55 per hour effective July 24, 2008) for the first 90 consecutive calendar days of employment. The 90 consecutive calendar days include both days worked and days not worked. Another exception is that retail or service stores, agriculture employers, or colleges and universities may obtain a certificate from the U.S. Department of Labor which allows a full-time student to be paid not less than 85% of the minimum wage.
States also have laws that may exempt employers from paying 15 year olds minimum wage. Check with your state to see what those exceptions may be. If your state's law conflicts with federal minimum wage laws, the stricter of the two laws applies so long as the employer is subject to federal law. If your employer is not subject to Federal Laws, the state law would apply exclusively.
