Is a 1982 Corvette a good car?

Depends on what you are buying it for. Some consider it to be the best looking vette to date. Some don't appreciate the rear half of the car.

The Good:

1. Last year of the C-3's good investment.
2. Parts are fairly cheap, and easy to find.
3. 700R4 Trans gives good torgue plus great hwy milage for a Vette.
4. Only C-3 with fuel injection
5. Currently the low cost intry to being a Vette Owner.
6. The Crossfire is getting harder to find.
7. 205hp in a 3500LB care makes it pretty quick.
8. Turns heads where ever you go.

The Bad:

1. Hard to find a mechanic who understands Crossfire TBI system.
2. They tend to have Vacum problems causing the car to Idle rough.
3. Have to deal with a "Vette Snob" now and again, but they are rapidly dying off as the 82 becomes more appreciated as time goes on. Remember, no one liked the 63 split window when it first came out. Now its one of the most sought after.
