305 can B beffed up but its small bore limits its hp limits. 350 gives u more hp 4 ur dollars. go with the 350 u will b happer and have a heaver walet 2 carry around.
Both are strong engines, but the overwhelming consensus is that the 350 is a better engine, and I agree.
If the Buick 305 is really a Chevy 305, then the motor mounts will interchange with a Chevy 350.
No. 305's have small valves due to the 305's small bore. Large valve heads can't be used on the 305 because the valves will hit the cylinder block. 350 heads breathe MUCH better than 305 heads. Stick with the 350 heads.
by the dispacement
the 350 is better. depending on the year of your truck it may be the biggest motor avalible without going diesel. I have a 94 Chevy longbed single cab with a TBI 350 in it with straight pipes and it'll move
Yeah.
YES a Whole lot better.
No they are the same blocks.Where did you get the mounts on the 350 from? The 305 or junk yard?Is it a new 350 or older 350?
you dont. the money it would cost in machine work and parts is way more than a 350 would cost to buy.
No. It's probably the same thing.
Yes they interchange
No way. NOT POSSIBLE NOT EVEN CLOSE
