This casting goes to 80-84 Chevy. It is a V6 3.8 litre engine. Commonly found in Malibus of that year and or El Camino's or OMC marine motors.

Anything above 5 psi at idle will lubricate your engine. There is no maxim oil pressure for a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer. When the engine is cold and the oil is thick you should see 60 to 80 psi.
Mario, If you're driving 80 MPH the DDP will kick in and shut the engine down. DDP = "Dumb Driver Protection." It has a Rev Limiter programmed in the computor.jd
rm 80 is a two stroke engine and the oil is mixed with the gas.. 50:1 is a pretty good ratio for that small engine.. the transmission uses separate oil
Yes it can! How much work I do not know. I saw an 80 a few years back with a 125 engine in it. I just got cr80 and I'm going to put a 125 engine in it, just to play with people at the track. I'll let you know how hard it is.
The 1997-2005 Vortec 5700 engines are EFI, as opposed to the earlier mid-80's and up 5.7 which were TBI.
