The Eddie Bauer package is an interior and exterior trim upgrade so you will find it on 2 and 4 wheel drive models but many more of them were 4x4. there should be a 4x4 emblem on the fender or you can look under the front end to see if it has a differential like the back.
where is the 4x4 fuse located in a 2002 ford explorer.
I would suggest the Ford web site.
Yes it will fit correctly.
how does 4x4 auto work
It's in the center stack of the dash , just to the left of the radio
14 city / 18 highway ( miles per U.S. gallon ) 4x4 , automatic
where is the cam shaft position sensor on a 98 ford explorer 4x4 4.0 sohc 4x4
If this is an automatic transmission ( no ) * starting with the 1995 model of Ford Explorer the automatic transmission was electronically controlled
the 4x4 might not be engaged right
On a 1997 Ford Explorer 4x4 : The transfer case is bolted to the rear of the transmission underneath the vehicle
On a 1996 Ford Explorer : Yes , assuming it's not the Eddie Bauer version with the 16 inch wheels ( my 1995 Ford Explorer " XLT model " , 4x4 , has always had P235/75/R15 all terrain tires on it right from the factory )
The transfer case makes it 4x4 not the transmission. As long as the trannys are the same should work
